The German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Bulgarien) and the German Embassy Sofia are organizing the first German-Bulgarian Defence Day on June 3, 2025 from 10 am to 4 pm in the Central Military Club in Sofia. The main purpose is to establish business contacts and to deepen existing trade and partnership relations with Bulgarian companies in the defence sector. The working language will be English.
A conference on the following topics will take place in the Ceremonial Hall (floor 2):
- Current situation, perspectives and priorities in the industry from a political perspective;
- Opportunities for cooperation between both countries;
- Presentation of the participating German companies.
Invited speakers include
- Bulgarian President Rumen Radev
- Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev
- Deputy Director of the Department of Political Affairs, Major General Stefan Schulz
- Bulgarian Minister of Defence Atanas Zapryanov
- Bulgarian Minister for Economy Petar Dilov, and
- Chairman of the Defence Committee in the Bulgarian Parliament Hristo Gadzhev.
In the Concert hall (floor 1), the participating German companies will present on individual stands their products and technologies in the defence sector. The following companies are waiting for you:
