Burgas Connectivity Forum – Connecting Nations
The Burgas Connectivity Forum, established in 2023, has quickly become a high-level international platform for dialogue and cooperation. Under its motto “Connecting Nations”, the Forum emphasizes the strategic role of the Black Sea as a bridge between Europe and Asia, fostering connections not only through infrastructure, but also through the exchange of knowledge, ideas, people, and innovation.
The 2026 edition will focus on financial connectivity, competitiveness, and investment in critical infrastructure and energy projects, highlighting how multilayered connectivity, innovation, and stakeholder synergy drive regional development and long-term competitiveness. Last year, over 150 participants from 17 countries joined, reflecting the Forum’s growing international relevance.
The Forum is organized and supported in partnership with the Municipality of Burgas, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Bulgaria and the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, with additional backing from the Embassies of Germany and Cyprus, the Hans Seidel Foundation, and the Eastern Committee of German Business. It is also part of Bulgaria’s official program under the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
By promoting strategic dialogue, innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and sustainable development, the Burgas Connectivity Forum positions the Black Sea region, and Bulgaria in particular, as a central hub for regional growth, investment, and connectivity.
