The German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GBCIC) organizes in partnership with the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry a conference on "Decarbonisation - the Bulgarian transition and current business practices", which will be held in person on 19^th of May 2022 (Thursday) from 10.00 am to 13.00 pm at the InterContinental Hotel, pl. Narodno sabranie 4, 1000 Sofia.

The purpose of the event is to present current and future projects in the framework of decarbonisation, which are planned by the state and the affected regions in the country, as well as good examples and practices by members of both chambers.

The conference will consist of two panels: theory and best practice.

In the theoretical panel, an expert from the Ministry of Environment and Water will present decarbonisation policies at the national level, and representatives of institutes, universities and NGOs will talk about their activities on the topic. In the practical part, business representatives will present their implemented projects leading to decarbonisation of the environment, as well as future initiatives.
